Spearheaded by Dr. Al Santiago of Bicol Medical Center Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, a riveting hybrid lecture series and blue laser workshop was attended by ENT practitioners, residents and anesthesiologists.

The day started with a laryngeal structure review by Dr. Milabelle Lingan from the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, followed by an introduction to laser surgery types in ENT by Dr. Al Santiago.

Dr Sheri Liquete then proceeded with a lecture on Anesthesia and Dr. William Lim shared his expertise on office based laryngeal procedures and transoral robotic surgery.

Prof. Markus Hess from the Medical Voice Center in Hamburg, Germany, gave an engrossing online lecture on Blue laser office based procedures, voice feminization, and retrograde retropharyngeal dysfunction.

The day culminated with a workshop and live demonstration on patients with vocal cord cyst and leukoplakia.
