A Symbol of Identity: The PSO-HNS Bicol Chapter Logo

A chapter would not be complete without a logo to represent it, hence the seven founding members created a symbol that would embody the Bicol Region, the PSO-HNS, and the PSO-HNS Bicol Chapter. The seven points of the star represents the seven founding members of the Bicol Chapter as well as the hope and aspirations of Bicolanos for quality affordable medical service in the field of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

The red chili pepper, a staple ingredient in Bicolano dishes, represents the Bicol Region, composed of 6 provinces in the southernmost tip of the island of Luzon, Philippines. The seeds visualize the growth of the chapter from its conception to the present time.
The overlapped figure of the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (PSO-HNS) logo on the 7-pointed star represents our recognition as a separate chapter and our shared vision and goals with the PSO-HNS.
